What are the benfits of an FF&E in a buy-sell event? 

The benefit to the buyer and the seller is an accurate inventory and fair market valuation of all the conveying deprecable assets. The FF&E itemized Excel spreed sheet is also used as the buyers new depreciation schedule and may be used as proof of collateral for initial financing. 

How long does it take to get the FF&E report?

The average dealership takes 3-5 days from the day we begin evaluation. Larger dealerships and mega-stores take 6-8 days.

Is my parts inventory too small or large for your services?

CGE provides annual parts inventory services to any size dealership, from small (less than $100,000) to very large (as much as $23,400,000). If your dollar value falls between those two numbers, we can help you with your inventory.

How much lead time do I need to engage CGE services?

We can accommodate most short-notice jobs. However, CGE is the number one company for dealership FF&Es in the country. Therefore, our schedule fills up fast and we are always busy. The longer the notice we have, the more flexible we can be with everyone who needs our help. 

Will you travel for a FF&E? 

I can and will travel anywhere in the United States for an FF&E. I am 20 minutes from the DFW Airport – or as I like to say, 3 hours from anywhere in the country. 

Will you travel for an inventory?

CGE's home team of inventory specialists services mostly Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and New Mexico. However, we do travel to run inventories all over the country. Nationwide, we work with local count teams, which we can solicit from the surrounding area or you can provide from your local talent.

What are your prices?

For an FF&E, our fee typically falls between 1.25% and 1.5% of the total appraised value of the assets. If your FF&E is above one million dollars in value it may be closer to 1%. Our minimum fee is $5000 for FF&E inventory and valuation. Travel expenses are additional.

For a Parts Department Inventory, pricing is cost-plus and dependent on the size and condition of the parts department, usually costing 1.5% to 2.5% of the total inventory value. Out-of-state inventories and inventories that require more than a day's work incur additional costs. Our minimum is $3500 for inventories in the state of Texas and $4000 for out-of-state inventories that require a single day of work.
